Bore da. Hoffwn groesawu Aelodau i gyfarfod cyntaf Pwyllgor Senedd y Dyfodol. Mae ein cylch gorchwyl, fel y cytunwyd gan y Senedd, yn ei wneud yn ofynnol i ni gyflwyno adroddiad erbyn 9 Mai 2025 a gwneud argymhellion i’r Pwyllgor Busnes am dri mater: trefnu busnes y Senedd, atebion i rwystrau sy’n amharu ar allu’r Senedd i gynrychioli pobl Cymru, a throthwyon sydd wedi eu cynnwys yn y Rheolau Sefydlog.
Mae’r cyfarfod yn ddwyieithog a gellir defnyddio’r clustffonau i glywed cyfieithu ar y pryd o’r Gymraeg i’r Saesneg ar sianel 1, neu i glywed cyfraniadau yn yr iaith wreiddiol yn well ar sianel 0.
Good morning. I’d like to welcome Members to the first meeting of the Future Senedd Committee. Our remit is agreed by the Senedd and we are required to report by 9 May 2025 and to make recommendations to the Business Committee on three issues: the organisation of Senedd business, solutions to barriers that impede the Senedd's ability to represent the people of Wales, and the thresholds included in the Standing Orders.
The meeting is bilingual and the headsets can be used to hear interpretation from Welsh to English on channel 1, or for amplification on channel 0.
Just in case there's a fire alarm, please follow the directions of the ushers to a safe location. There isn't one scheduled, by the way. Could I remind Members, please, to turn your mobile phones off, or any other electronic equipment, or onto silent? No apologies have been received today, and I welcome you all.
Just for the public, can I welcome the Minister as well? The Minister is acting as a member of the committee on this occasion and is actually here representing the Welsh Labour group. I've put that on the record.

that the committee resolves to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting, and the meeting on 14 November, in accordance with Standing Order 17.42(ix).
